Romeo and Juliet is the classic love story but there is more to it when you read it as a Graphic Novel. It also makes the very complex story easy to understand. I think this way of reading is fun and more exiting than a massive block of writing. I would recommendthis book to anyone because it comes in different styles of writing: Original text(unabridged), Plain text(Plain English) and Quick text(Quick English!) I give this book a 9 and a 1/2 out of 10 because it has been one of my favourite books this term.

This book is really amazing. It’s sort of a
mix up of horror and comedy. The book wasn’t very long and it only took me 6-7 hours to read it. I don’t usually get fascinated by a book that’s very short but this one is different. Once I started reading this book, I couldn’t stop laughing. But as the story carried on, I could feel chills running through my spine. The story is very original and I haven’t read anything like it before. What also fascinates me is how every bit of the story connects mysteriously to the ending. Every small detail of the story is part of the end. It is one of those books in which after you read over the last page, it will still be with you for days. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for suspense, thrill and comedy.

Eragon is absoloutely brilliant!!! It’s about a boy (Eragon) who finds a dragon egg and takes it home. When it hatches he calls her Saphira and together they journey to the Varden after meeting Brom and Murtagh. Eragon and Saphira try to overthrow the evil king Galbatorix and win back peace to Alagaesia. Eragon is the first book in the Inheritance trilogy, and now a bestselling film. I loved Eragon because it’s about elves, dragons, dwarves etc. If you like Lord of the Rings then you will love this book! The one thing about this series I don’t understand is how it can be a trilogy when a 4th book is coming soon!

This book is about a teenager called Stanley Yelnats who is arrested for a crime that he didn’t commit and sent to a boot camp called Camp Green Lake in the middle of the desert. There they were forced to dig holes five feet deep and five feet wide. He makes friends with a boy called Zero (everyone had nicknames there,Stanley’s was “Caveman”)who would dig half of Stanley’s hole if Stanley would teach him to write. One day Zero runs away into the desert and Stanley follows him.
I would recommend this for ages eleven or twelve to sixteen. I would give this book eight out of ten stars because you won’t be able to stop reading it. Louis Sachar also wrote Small Steps but I think Holes is much better.

This book is great ! Every thing about it is good . And the name is good too… EISO TROT {tortoise}. I mean its brilliant , dont you think ? Well my favorite part is when Mr Hoppy bought all of the Tortoises and swapped about eight of them to Mrs Silver and she thought that they were Alfie {Mrs Silvers tortoise} I got hungry when I was reading it because of all the vegg Alfie ate. If you havent read this yet you really should because I wasn’t lying when I said this book is great. So please read it. Thanks for reading my report.

The book is a very funny, interesting, action filled book. It is about a young boy called Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. The books are set in a very wet, cold, windy, boggy and usually snowy area. Hiccup is the heir to the Hairy Hooligan Tribe, a fearless group of Vikings that capture and train dragons. He is very wimpy, has red hair, spaghetti arms, thin and nervous. Despite all of that he is a master swords man. He can also speak to dragons and is quite brave. I would recomed this book to any reader that enjoys action books with a big twist!!!

We have chosen Point Blanc by Anthony Horowits because we have always loved the movie about the one before point blanc, and we both like reading books. Our favourite part was when he was being chased on the snowmobeals and we think he flew over a gate and crashed into traffic that kept us on the edge of our seats! We have never pushed our selves enough to read the next ones but we will soon. It was tense when he got shot and had to rip his t-shirt open and heal his wounds. Also there was a girl in the book called Fiona when we saw her she was wearing a stunning white bikini and she had quite an attitude. But we were suprised when we thought that she came in and started to like him a bit more, and we can’
t remember exactly but we think that they went out to see the sunset and there was a bit of romance.
