The Butterfly Lion by Micheal Morpurgo

November 3rd, 2009 by hlppupil in Fiction · No Comments

This is a story inside a story and as always it’s an old woman telling it. The story starts in a boring old boarding school but soon moves on to the exiting imaginaition of an old woman, reliving a present event of a boy in Africa, who can’t be separated from a wild animal. The boy was heartbroken the day his dad was so desperate for money that he sold his son’s only ever friend to buttera circus.

When the boy gets older he goes in search of his long lost friend. This is a story of happiness and joy but also a story of regret and sadness. I thought this was a great book because I can still remember it and I read it about a year ago.

The Good the Bad and Everything Else

November 3rd, 2009 by hlppupil in Fiction · 1 Comment

The main character’s name is Sara. Sara got bullied by Geoff Nelson. He has ruined her life so far and now her parents said that there going to have a baby! She is not happy about this.

Our favourite part of the story was when Geoff Nelson and Sara was fighting over a frisbee.

We liked that part of the story because it was full of action.
